Senior Spotlight: Muadth Malley

Tell me about yourself. When did you come to PVS? What are your hobbies and interests?

I came to PVS in 4th grade. It was the same year I moved to Memphis. I enjoy biking and yard work.

How has COVID-19 impacted your senior year?

Everything became online so it has been a little more difficult for me to focus on college applications; other than that, I have the same experience as anybody else.

What is the worst and best thing about being a senior?

Worst part about being a senior is doing college applications. The best part is yet to come, when I finish them.

Who is your biggest hero/role model and why?

My biggest role model is Usama Ibn Zayd, the sahabi who led a military expedition when he was just 17. He gives me motivation to work harder as well as become a better Muslim.

If you could go back and change one thing, what would it be?

I'm not sure, I don’t think it's good to dwell on the past. Rather, we should look towards our future and attempt to be the best Muslims we can be.

What are your plans for college/after graduation?

Inshallah I plan to major in business or economics.

What advice do you have for the underclassmen?

Try to focus on one thing you really love and become really good at it
