How has COVID-19 impacted your senior year?
COVID-19 has impacted my senior year in many ways. Being home all the time has affected me socially by making it harder for me to communicate with friends that I used to so freely and casually talk to before. It has especially affected me since I am an only child and have no siblings to talk to or bond with while at home. It has also affected my school life as well. Being on the computer for 8 hours a day for school and over 3 hours a day for extracurriculars and homework is mentally and physically draining. Our senior year is our last year in school, so I am looking forward to participating in activities and trips.
What is the worst and best thing about being a senior?
The best part about being a senior is the independence that you have and the fun senior activities. The worst part about being a senior is senioritis and stressful college applications.
Who is your biggest hero/role model and why?
My biggest role model is the Prophet Mohammad (SAW). He was and still is the perfect role model to the whole ummah.
What will you miss most about your time at PVS?
The thing that I will miss the most about my time at PVS is the community. The people are definitely something I took for granted. I have been attending PVS since daycare, so I have a lot of unforgettable memories with some of the most amazing and talented people I have ever met.
What are your plans for college/after graduation?
My plans for college/after graduation are to get my bachelors and masters degrees and pursue an occupation that I wake up every day looking forward to.
What advice do you have for the underclassmen?
A piece of advice I have for the underclassmen is don't procrastinate. Deadlines can sneak up on you and procrastination can hurt you in a lot of ways. Making procrastination a habit is something you will forever regret.
