Scholarly Scholastic - Art & Writing Contest Opening Up Again

The Scholastic Art And Writing Competition is an annual competition for students from 7-12th grades. The competition is an excellent way to get student writing and art recognized. There is a vast array of categories ranging from short-fiction to novel-length works, and regular pencil-drawing to sculptures. The submission portal opened September 1st, 2021.

Who can Enter


Students in 7-12th grades, ages 13 and up, can enter the competition. Competitors can submit however many pieces they wish with a small fee; they cannot submit the same piece in multiple categories (i.e, don’t put your sculpture under both the design and sculpture categories).


How to Enter


Navigate to the site listed under the “More Information” section. Once you are at the site, navigate to the top-right corner and press “Log in.”, from there, you will create an account for the 2022 competition (you must create a new account every year).


Awards


PVS students have consistently won multiple awards in past years such as Silver Keys, awarded to excellent and outstanding works.
