PVS students place in CBU 'Science Fair'
Pleasant View School students participated and won at the Christian Brother University "Science Fair" on March 16, 2017 at CBU.
In this competition students from grades three to 11 participated with various projects.
It was a one day event in which students create a project using the scientific method and follow the method to create a trifold poster board on an experiment. Students presented their experimental data orally to the judges.
“It gave students an exposure on how to present in front of judges,” says Farhana Chowdhury, the instructor for the competition at PVS.
Chowdhury worked with the students to help them create their boards.
PVS students won first, second and third place awards at the High School level and first place at the Middle School level.
Osman Chelikok won first. Alhasan Hadidi won second. Sarah Shotwell won third.
