    The Great Annual PVS Cookout

Early in November, students finally had the chance to participate in Mr. Clarke’s annual cookout. The food, all made by Mr. Clarke, was wonderful. And as he said, “The burgers were good, bro.” Students volunteered to collect tickets, pass out food, and clean up throughout the afternoon. Although there were a few hiccups on the planning side, the cookout went very well. Students enjoyed spending time with their classmates, upperclassmen, and even alumni. Many alumni were prese

Positive Panthers: Our Newest Addition to Advocacy

A group of Pleasant View School seniors have formed a mental health advocacy group, “Positive Panthers,” to focus on the mental and physical well-being of students. People normally prioritize physical health, but mental health is equally as essential, and can be more essential than physical health in many cases. An Ode to An English Teacher: Sophomore Perspective

When we first walked into English class three years ago in 8th grade, we didn’t know what to expect from the new teacher, who told us to call her Mrs. A instead of Mrs. Angela Alomari, her real name. For the juniors, these visits allow them to get an understanding of what colleges the
