    PVS offers new AP classes: AP Physics, AP Biology, and AP Psychology

    Pleasant View School offers a variety of AP classes, and this year the school added three more AP classes to an already robust curriculum. Although it is not required for students to take AP classes, it is strongly recommended for students to pursue them in order to fulfill the “rigor” category on college applications.     After almost one and a half years of zoom classes, irregular sleeping patterns, and being separated from classmates, PVS students in grades pre-k-10 resumed in-person classes to kick off the 2021-2022 school year.     Scholarly Scholastic - Art & Writing Contest Opening Up Again

    The Scholastic Art And Writing Competition is an annual competition for students from 7-12th grades. The competition is an excellent way to get student writing and art recognized.     Growth Mindset: Through the Pages

    For the second summer in a row, Pleasant View students met online to discuss books centered on a schoolwide theme.     For many years, ICNA Relief has been organizing Back 2 School events to provide backpacks and school supplies to the less fortunate.     Summer Study for PVS Students

    This summer, Pleasant View School students stayed active by engaging and working within their communities and participating in academic programs.Many students took opportunities to begin developing practical leadership skills. Often, there is a narrative of brain drain during the summer that many students experience by not partaking in any beneficial activities, but Alhamdulillah, this summer PVS students remained actively engaged with academic and leadership opportunities.
